These Terms of Service govern your access to and use of the Mokunet platform. Please read them carefully before using the Platform. By accessing or using the Platform, you agree to be bound by these Terms.
1. Platform overview
Mokunet provides a supply chain management platform that connects growers, producers, and researchers in the agricultural sector. The Platform is designed to promote fair trade practices, transparency, and sustainability throughout the agricultural supply chain.
2. User roles and responsibilities
Different participants take on different commitments when they use the Platform.
2.1 Grower responsibilities
- Provide accurate information about your agricultural practices, production capacity, and certifications.
- Uphold fair labor practices and sustainability standards as represented in your profile.
- Honor commitments made to producers through the Platform.
- Report production issues that may impact supply chain commitments in a timely manner.
- Participate in fair pricing negotiations consistent with fair trade principles.
2.2 Producer responsibilities
- Provide accurate information about your processing capabilities and capacity.
- Uphold fair trade principles in all transactions with growers.
- Honor pricing agreements and payment terms established through the Platform.
- Provide transparent information about your supply chain and sourcing practices.
- Support and respect the rights and welfare of the growers you work with.
2.3 Researcher responsibilities
- Clearly define research purposes before accessing platform data.
- Obtain proper permissions when using identifiable data in publications.
- Provide proper attribution to data sources in all research outputs.
- Share findings that could benefit platform users with the Mokunet community.
3. Fair trade principles
The Platform is built on the foundation of fair trade principles. All users agree to uphold the following:

4. Account registration and access
To access certain features of the Platform, you must register for an account. You agree to provide accurate information during the registration process and to keep your account credentials secure. You are responsible for all activities that occur under your account.
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or engage in fraudulent, abusive, or harmful practices.
5. Platform usage and restrictions
When using the Platform, you agree not to:
- Misrepresent your identity, affiliations, or certifications.
- Post false or misleading information about your products, practices, or capabilities.
- Engage in price fixing, collusion, or other anti-competitive behavior.
- Use the Platform to circumvent established supply chain relationships.
- Scrape, data mine, or otherwise extract data from the Platform except as expressly permitted.
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Platform or other users' accounts.

7. Intellectual property
The Platform, including all content, features, and functionality, is owned by Mokunet and protected by intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, modify, or create derivative works of the Platform without our explicit permission.
8. Payment terms
Certain Platform features may require payment. By using these features, you agree to pay all fees and charges associated with your account. Failure to pay may result in suspension or termination of access to premium features.
For transactions between users (such as between growers and producers), the Platform may facilitate payments but is not responsible for fulfillment of goods or services. All such transactions are governed by separate agreements between the parties involved.
9. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Mokunet shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages resulting from your use of or inability to use the Platform.
We do not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or usefulness of information on the Platform, nor do we endorse products or practices of any users. Users are responsible for conducting their own due diligence.
10. Dispute resolution
Any disputes arising from these Terms or use of the Platform shall first be addressed through informal negotiation. If a resolution cannot be reached, disputes will be resolved through binding arbitration conducted in accordance with the rules of the American Arbitration Association.
11. Governing law
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the applicable jurisdiction, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
12. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. The updated version will be indicated by an updated "Last Updated" date at the top of this document. We encourage you to review these Terms periodically.
